Project Description:
Tribal Whirlpool Warehouse is a purpose built warehouse for the Whirlpool Corporation as a Western Canadian Distribution Centre. This award winning project (NAIOP Rex Award for Industrial Lease of the Year) featured in Award Magazine, February 2019. Has many innovative design features such as 40 Trailer Dock Doors with the expansion potential to increase to 102 Dock Doors in total. Tribal Whirlpool Warehouse achieved LEED® Silver Certification and incorporated many wellness strategies such as extensive glazing on the North and South sides of the building for increased natural lighting benefits, decreased energy usage as well as visual appeal. Another feature that was utilized is extensive Rain and Groundwater collection which is used for the irrigation of the entire site, thereby reducing potable water use.
