Project Description:
As Part 2 of the Highland Plaza redevelopment, the owners secured a Dairy Queen franchise (he already had one DQ store) to put into the centre. By downsizing and relocating the convenience store, they were able to provide approximately ½ of the building to the DQ layout. By giving it the prominent end/corner suite, it is visible from the Centre Street intersection. It also gives the development a presence and a draw for the other tenants. It has become a local place to go after youth baseball and soccer games in the area.
