Project Description:
The building was constructed in the late 70’s and had not been updated since then. The main front lobby had a full height atrium with clerestory windows to let in the light. However, darker colours and a lack of lighting made the space dim and unwelcoming. This renovation was intended to open up the space, add light, and brighten the materials and colours to make the space more modern. Unique ceilings were included to add interest to the spaces around the elevator stops on each floor. Glass railings were used to improve views and reduce shadows on the floors around the atrium.
