Project Description:
Fairmount Shopping Centre is an existing late 1970’s suburban retail strip mall that has been redeveloped over the years. Kumlin Sullivan Architecture Studio was brought on by the client to create a new façade to the existing buildings while maximizing the site potential through additional building development. The new façade design was create to enliven the retail shopping experience for users while enhancing the visual appeal from passing motorists. The illuminated beacon design was created as an eye-catching means of highlighting the tenancies while maintaining the covered shopping experience of the mall. Site enhancements included for the potential development of a ±5 600 sq. ft. multi-tenant retail building on site.
