Project Description:
Deerfoot Meadows is a brown field site that converted industrial land in to a multi-phased retail development adjacent to Deerfoot Trail which handles over 133 000 cars / day. The project is anchored with Calgary's only IKEA store along with WalMart and Supersore. Phases 1 - 3 include Best Buy, Michaels, Pier One, SportChek, along with numerous restaurants and services uses. On this project Barry Sullivan, as an Intermediate Architectural Designer at Gibbs Gage Architects was a part of a three person design team responsible for the design and planning of the multi-phased retail development. This included seven multi-tenant retail buildings.
