Project Description:
The RV sales and service facility had long outlived its premises. The building was old, run down, and no longer served the function of showing off the RV’s in any attractive way. The new facility provided a larger service area being able to service 4 full sized RV’s. the new sales area could accommodate motor homes, trailers, tent trailers, and accessories. Lots of windows and glazed overhead doors provided lots of ambient light into the space during the day with LED fixtures providing a bright space during the winter months of low sun light periods. The building, although a pre-engineered structure, was super insulated to reduce operating costs in the cold winter months. To enhance the rather industrial nature of the building, heavy timber decorative features were added to the entrance features and overhang supports, a response to the forested areas around Quesnel.
